What is it?

Article Forge is a fully-automated AI writing platform that uses a deep-learning model combined with research models to write factually accurate articles from scratch.

With Article Forge, you can supply a single keyword and it will generate articles of up to 750 words in length. Since it writes the content from scratch, the articles are completely unique.

How does it work?

Article Forge is one of the simplest AI writing tools to use. You can create new articles in just three steps.

1
article forge keyword

The first step is to enter a keyword into the main keyword field. This essentially serves as the topic of the article.

2
article forge sub keywords

Next, you have the option to add sub-keywords. You can think of these as sub-topics. Article Forge will make a point of including sections based on these sub-keywords and optimize the content for them.

3
article forge settings

Before you generate the article, you can modify a few settings. For instance, you can select the article length and choose to have AF include an image and video for you.

4
create article button

The last step is to click the Create New Article button and sit back while it works its magic. The articles normally take 1 minute, but right now AF is dealing with extra volume and has slowed down to 5 minutes per article.

As you can see, creating articles with Article Forge is extremely easy. You don’t need any training at all to use it, but the developers have released a video tutorial with insider tips for those that want to maximize their results.

How is it different?

Unlike most AI content creators, Article Forge is designed exclusively to write blog posts and full-length articles. Its 750-word length is a lot longer than most AI can write with a single prompt, making it one of the best tools for those looking to automate article writing.

Article Forge’s content quality is also a lot higher than many other AI writers because of their research models. It’s pretty impressive how many relevant facts the AI engine can include in each article.

As a fully automated writing tool, one of the best features of Article Forge is its ability to write articles in bulk. Instead of sitting at the computer writing one article at a time, you can give it 20 keywords and come back later when all 20 articles are finished.

While Article Forge is excellent at writing blog posts, it isn’t optimized for writing other types of content like social media posts and ads, so you’ll need another AI writer if you’re interested in that. Without an outlining tool, you also have less control over the structure of the content than some other tools offer.

Pros
  • High-quality AI content
  • Bulk article generation
  • Outstanding fact-checking algorithm
Cons
  • Only writes articles
  • Little control over article structure
  • Article generation can be slow

Content samples

To give you a clearer picture of Article Forge’s content, I’ve copied a few articles here so you can evaluate them.

These articles are unedited and copied directly from Article Forge.

How these samples were created

To create these samples, I entered a single keyword into the article creator. For the “mutual fund” article, I added a few additional sub-keywords to give it more direction.

For the settings, I set each article to 750 words and enabled the option to add titles.

No edits were made to any of the words in the articles.

By the way, if you have any questions about these samples or the content generated by Article Forge, feel free to get in touch with me.

Content quality rating

Below are the content quality ratings for the articles generated by Article Forge.

Content Quality of Article Forge

Factual accuracy measures the tools ability to correctly state facts. The AI loses points if it states innaccurate facts like the USA was founded in 1920 or Stockholm is a country in England.

Factual accuracy:

Intelligibility measures how sensible the text is. The AI loses points for writing nonsense sentences and phrases.

Intelligibility:

Repetitiveness measures how much the AI repeats itself. The AI loses points for repeating the same words and sentence structures, or making the same point repeatedly.

Repetitiveness:

Flow & readability is a general measure of how much one sentence flows into the next. The AI loses points for awkward sentences and jarring transitions.

Flow & readability:

Spelling & grammary is a measure of the AI's ability to spell words correctly and use proper grammar. The AI loses points for gross mispellings and grammatical errors, but leniency is given for regional choices, such as "color" vs "colour".

Overall rating:

Here’s a breakdown of why Article Forge received these scores for its content.

Factual accuracy

Article Forge uses its own research models to insert correct facts about the topics it writes about and it shows in the content. It’s extremely good at citing real facts like the location of Dublin in Ireland or the year that St. Patrick’s Cathedral was built.

Intelligibility

Article Forge rarely writes sentences that don’t make sense. However, it sometimes uses an “unclear antecedent” saying “these” without first stating what these are. There are also times when it prepares the reader for some information and then discusses a different subject in the next sentence.

These mistakes were not overly frequent and Article Forge never generated nonsensical or meaningless sentences.

Repetitiveness

Overall, Article Forge is good at using variety, but there are times when it repeats itself. It sometimes uses the same sentence structure in two sentences in a row or begins paragraphs with the same few words.

Despite some minor issues with repetition, Article Forge still deserves a high score because most sentences feel unique and different from the last.

Tip: if you only use a primary keyword, your articles may come out more repetitive. Adding sub-keywords will help a lot to keep long articles from restating the same information.

Flow & readability

While the style of the text is solid, the flow is sometimes awkward. There is occasionally a sudden shift in topic. This often appears as the final sentence in a paragraph that just doesn’t fit into that paragraph very well. There are also issues with the structure of longer articles.

The article on hotels in Miami came out great because the order of the paragraphs doesn’t matter, but AF struggled with the article about creating a website. It repeats the step about choosing a domain name throughout the whole article.

I’m only taking off one point for two reasons. First, this issue is more prevalent in long articles, and most other AI writers can’t even write 750 words as AF can. And second, it seems to be an issue primarily with tutorials but isn’t a problem for list posts and other informational content.

Spelling & grammar

When reviewing the text with Grammarly, I routinely find small errors. Sometimes there are commas where they are not needed and occasionally an article (like “the”) is used incorrectly with a proper noun. That said, these are minor mistakes and there are only about 3-5 in a 750-word article.

Overall content quality

All things considered, the content generated by Article Forge is extremely good for an AI writer.

The biggest flaw in Article Forge’s content is the way it handles the structure of articles. If you’re looking to write tutorials primarily, Article Forge may not be the best tool for you because it isn’t good at writing steps in an ordered manner.

Article Forge’s greatest strength is its remarkable ability to add accurate factual information into its articles. If you need to write general informational articles, you’ll likely be impressed with what Article Forge creates.

Overall, the quality is good enough that you could publish it on a real website after some light editing.

Final Take

If you want a tool that can write articles from scratch all on its own, it doesn’t get much better than Article Forge.

Article Forge’s biggest strength is its ability to include a wealth of accurate facts that make the content appear well-researched. When creating content with Article Forge, you can skip both the research and writing phases of content creation and jump straight to editing.

Article Forge isn’t designed to write other types of content like headlines and emails, and there are very few tools in the dashboard outside of the article generation. This might make it too limited for some content creators.

While the blog posts written by Article Forge will need human editing before they’re ready for use on a real website, it will still save you a tremendous amount of time and allow you to write factual articles about topics you’re not even familiar with.

FAQ

What’s the difference between a fully-automated and semi-automated AI writer?

A fully automated AI writer, like Article Forge, can generate complete articles using your input. A semi-automated AI writer will help outline your article and write smaller portions of text under your direction.

Both require human editing, but your choice will depend on whether you want to edit a completed article or edit the articles as the AI writes them with you.

Is there a word limit?

The Standard plan offers 250,000 words/month and the Unlimited plan offers unlimited words/month. That said, there is still a 200,000 word/month limit imposed on the API and bulk article generator even with the unlimited plan.

How long does it take to write an article?

Normally, it only takes a minute. However, since Article Forge has had a large number of signups with the release of version 3.0, they have seen these times slow down to roughly 5 minutes per article.

Are the articles truly unique?

Yes, the articles are all unique and will pass a Copyscape test every time.
